Roy W. Woodruff, Jr.

Roy Woodruff, Jr. is a retired District Fire Chief, having served thirty-two years on the New Orleans Fire Department. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Woodruff's tenure on the Southern Rail Commission dates back to 1999 when the Commission was known as The Southern High Speed Rail Commission. Professionally, he also taught at Tulane University as an Adjunct Instructor in Homeland Security Studies. Woodruff holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of New Orleans.
