Tommy Johnson, a native of Monroe, Louisiana, brings a strong background in public policy, digital strategy, and economic development to the Southern Rail Commission. He began his career working on multiple U.S. Senate campaigns, including that of Senator John Kennedy, and later served Congressman Ralph Abraham on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Currently, Johnson is Vice President at Bold Strategies, where he oversees creative and digital strategy for a diverse range of clients across the private and public sectors. His expertise in advertising, marketing, and branding has helped organizations navigate complex challenges and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Johnson earned his MBA from the LSU Flores MBA Program and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Louisiana State University.
